I ordered the Darth Vader ep5 SE saber as part of the BOGOF offer, and it's a great bit of kit. It's a quality made saber with good sound effects and has some weight to it too.
The grandchildren love it, so it's just as well it's able to take some punishment .

The item i was sent free was the A01 saber, which was nowhere near as good, the sound is very muted even on full volume and has no where near as much light effects but does light up well.

Having seen some saber companies with terrible reviews, I was a bit skeptical. I ordered their BOGO of the Vader saber, and did not see any selection on their website for the free saber, so I emailed them inquiring. They did not respond over the weekend, but Monday they emailed and stated that customers can't really pick or option the free saber, so it's just whatever they decide to ship. It would be nice to have some selection for that, but oh well.
I placed my order on April 18th. I paid with a credit card (not a debit card) just in case there was some issue and I had to contest the order, I know a credit card company provides purchase protections. So that's a good practice for most online transactions these days.
Again, I ordered on April 18th. I got almost constant emails and text updates on the shipment once it was sent out on Monday from Hong Kong. So customer communication was EXCELLENT. My shipment arrived yesterday April 26th via DHL delivery to me here in Florida, USA.
I was very impressed with the build quality and materials! These sabers are solid, gorgeous finishes, and primo lighting! The free saber was one of their basic models, and I didn't expect them to send a top-level model for free, but it's certainly functional and great quality for a free one. Solid construction and gorgeous copper and black finish! The blade on the free one is just a basic hollow translucent blade, but the polycarbonate is very sturdy and durable. VERY.
The Vader saber I received is top-shelf in almost every respect. The ONLY complaint I have about either one is the single-button control scheme. They really should put some extra hidden adjustment or switch somewhere else on the body for selecting color, sound, and boot lighting. The main power button should ONLY be for power on/power off. And it should only be quick press ON and quick press OFF. All other functions should be accessed through some other control on the saber body, maybe a recessed slide switch.
I did download their app, which is pretty good and comprehensive. It allows all sorts of customization of operation, and connected immediately to the saber. I think they went overboard building in all sorts of RGB and sound effects, but I guess there are SW fans who like all that. I am more interested in something authentic to the movies, just on/off, red glowing color, and nice strike effects.
The neopixel blade is EXCELLENT. Instead of little fiddly set screws (that are easy to drop), I'd rather they install some kind of quick-release to install or remove the blade quickly. But the color effects and brightness are awesome.
Again, the single-button control scheme is the only complaint I have. It's just too inconsistent, too fiddly to operate, and there's lots of frustrating trial and error trying to just turn the saber on/off without inadvertently activating some other color, pattern, or sound function. Again, they really need those functions separate, with a rotating knob or hidden switch, not integrated into the power button. I wish there was a fix for this, because it's almost unusable.
Overall, I give it 8 out of 10, only because of the frustrating single button controls. Otherwise, it's amazing!

I was actually shocked on sight with how great it looks. And even more impressed when i actually gave it a whirl. it's so light and easy to spin, which is great because i mostly brought it to duel with. It's also held up perfectly fine in a few reasonably heavy dueling sessions. Overall, yes you guys make awesome affordable lightsabers. Disney is ass lol, I'll definitely be making a third purchase in the future.❤️
