In the latest issue of Total Film magazine, actor and series creator Leslie Headland provides more details about the upcoming series of Acolyte. The news that the live-action series will feature Vernestra Rwoh's iconic lightwhip is exciting for Star Wars fans of the High Republic era. Leslie Headland said she will respect her previous work and draw inspiration from unexpected places.

The series will cover the broad Star Wars universe, including the Extended Universe and Disney sequels, while also exploring suspenseful story elements similar to her previous work, Russian Doll.
